okk...i haven't updated this blog for ages...
i even forgot that this blog is really exist...
i have such a bad day today...
okk...here's the thing...
i got an email said that i have an overdue book that i have to return to the library...
but the thing is...i've returned the book...
but i put the book in a trolley to bring the book back to its shelf...
stupid me...
and now the fine reached $1000 dollar...
can u imagine that...
better pay the lost fine which is only $125 dollars....
i'm so so stupid...
hope i can resolve this problem with the library stuff tomorrow...
i really don't want to pay any of those fines u know....
$125 is quite a lot...
ohh...and one more thing...
i've moved on...
i've moved on from everything...
i wish to be a new person...
a better one if i could...
my life is not perfect....
but i think i can think about it positively...
because u know what...
when u think that u have a beautiful life....
probably your life won't look so dull anymore....
probably....u will see that there's a solution for every single problem....
we can't enjoy life if we keep thinking that nothing good will come...

Dong Bang Shin Ki makes a cameo; aims for top sales

, the Japanese movie in which superstar Korean group, Dong Bang Shin Ki made a small cameo in, is going to show in cinemas in Taiwan soon. Taiwanese fans have made plans to show their support by booking cinemas by the halls, even though the cameo made is only about ten seconds or more.

Meisa Kuroki plays the female lead in , an exceptionally gifted ballet genius, and in order to perfect the role, she practiced ballet non-stop for three months. And DBSK, who sang the theme song for the movie, also cameos as a well-known group, making the movie even more enticing for moviegoers.

Taiwanese Cassiopeians will be booking the cinema halls on the 30th of May, supporting their idols in the most concise action ever.

TeleCinema Project: DBSK’s Jaejoong in Heaven’s Postman

Production for Heaven's Postman (천국의 우편 배달부) wrapped back in December and rumors are that it will air sometime this month on SBS.

DBSK Jaejoong plays Shin Jae Joon (Japanese character's name is Yu), an IT worker who gets into an accident and ends up in a vegetative state, becoming a messenger for the present and the afterworld. While traveling back and forth, delivering letters to the departed, he meets Jo Ha Na, played by Han Hyo Joo (Saki), as she is trying to send her boyfriend a letter. She is the only person who can see him.

Heaven’s Postman's budget is estimated at 100 billion won. This drama is directed by Lee Hyeong Min, who previously directed “Sorry, I Love You” and “Snow Queen.” The drama’s script is written by “Long Vacation” Japanese popular screenwriter, Kitagawa Eriko.

Popular group Dong Bang Shin Ki had a miss at ‘Best Group Video’ for the awards this time.

Their MV for ‘MIROTIC’ was nominated for the award category but the award eventually went to Exile with the MV ‘Ti amo’.

Other videos nominated for the award is group Franz Ferdinand’s ‘Ulysses’ and The Killers‘ ‘Human’. .

‘MIROTIC’ went up to the Oricon daily chart when it was released as the group’s 24th single last October in Japan. And the song had received much love from music fans.

It is a shame that the group did not win the award, but they are currently having their 4 concert tour in Japan ‘2009 – The Secret Code’ and was not able to attend the awards ceremony.

Tanaka K as The Lead Actor of DBSK's Stand by U PV

A group who released a single which becomes popular anime ONE PIECE soundtrack, “Share The World/We Are!” on April 22nd and placed their singles 6 times on ORICON Weekly #1, TVXQ, makes news yet again. On July 1st, continuing from the hit last year “どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう?”, a love song single “Stand by U” will be launched. Meanwhile, on May 29th 17:00 prior to the release date, a drama version MV of this single will be released for the first time through cellphone BeeTV “BeeMusic”.

Drama actor, Tanaka K appears at the music video as the leading role to experience such a hurting content of the MV. “Stand by U”, despites it’s still 1 month before the release, on May 27th won 2nd place for top request chart at J-POP, drawing a lot of attention to this broken heart single.

Furthermore, on May 1st BeeTV celebrated as their surpass 10,000 downloads thus by June 1st in the afternoon, decides to execute plan of registering with no charge as a possibility to see everyone’s wishes. While during May BeeTV has been holding lottery for 300 people to get “DoCoMo charger”.

Popular group TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki placed second on the Oricon Monthly Sales chart for their One Piece OP single, "Share the World / We are!" The sales were tabulated from April 20th - May 17th and TVXQ had a sales of 129,000 during that time period.

TVXQ's 28th Japanese single titled Stand By You is scheduled to be released on July 1st. They will have very stiff competition with this release, Popular JPOP group Arashi will be releasing "Everything" on the same date. Other popular artists such as Flumpool, Gackt, and Mao Denda are also scheduled to release new singles around that time frame.

Revealing the real crying days of Tohoshinki.

On June 3rd, sale of CD which will flow your tears “OTOKONAKI (Men Cry)” is begun. The compilation album which gathers male artists’ songs in theme of “the hidden tears of men”, all songs inserted has in total sales of 380 thousands copies.

Tohoshinki’s song “Doushite Kimi Wa Suki Ni Natta Shimattan Darou?” is also recorded, and the more special of it is the official web of OTOKONAKI where you can see listeners’ marks on this song. Among the fans, you must have the imagination of them singing in flowing tears, right?

As for Tohoshinki, which has never been told and even in their official web never released that they ever cried, yet 2 years ago on June 19th 2007–at the last stage of their “Tohoshinki 2nd Live Tour” in Budoukan, at encore while were singing “PROUD”, suddenly Yoochun was teary and couldn’t manage to continue singing. Junsu who was beside him got the effect and also the rest of members did cry as well.

Tohoshinki who currently has been active in all cities around Japan, they had endured anykind of uneasy feeling, restlessness for finally to be in where they are now.

TOHOSHINKI, whose 4th album was awarded Platinum on the 12th, have confirmed their appearance in Japan's longest running programme "Tokyo Friend Park2".

"Tokyo Friend Park2", which has gained alot of popularity in its 15 years, is a game show broadcasted by TBS every Monday, 7pm. It's an energetic programme where you have to use your body to get through various challenges. It just won't stop. It's Boys Over Flowers / Boys Before Flowers once again, but this time in Japanese... sort of. Lee Min Ho and Kim Joon were featured in a photo shoot for Samsung Haptic, while the full F4 were featured in a yet unknown Japanese magazine.

The photo concepts for the Lee Min Ho and Kim Joon photo shoot looks similar to that of SS501 U R Man concepts. Maybe a bit of the Late 70's / Early 80's flavor mixed it. There's also a little bit of the bromance seen from the Super Junior photos.

Vogue Girl met with Lee Min Ho for an interview along with a photo shoot in London, England.

Vogue Girl (VG): Your blood type is A. (Type As) abide well by social norms, have a timid side, and are perfectionists. Is your personality similar to that? Is it not?
Lee Min Ho (LMH): My personality is not like a type A. First of all, I can’t become a perfectionist, I’m not shy, and I don’t maintain social norms well either (laughter). Neither am I that precise.

VG: Are you a morning person or an owl-like night person ?
LMH: I’m like an owl. To the extent that the oriental medicine doctor said that my physical constitution doesn’t allow me to use energy in the daytime. Although due to my schedule, there have been occasions recently that make me a morning person.

VG: What does the owl Lee Min Ho usually do at night?
LMH: It’s not possible now, but before I’d go out with friends to eat good food or play [computer] games at home.

VG: If some time frees up in the middle of the afternoon, do you do outdoor activities like basketball or soccer or play games indoors?
LMH: It depends on [my] condition. I like sports so if [my] condition’s good I guess I’d play basketball or soccer but if it seems bothersome, I play games or watch movies. If I were to choose now…, I like activities I can do at home.

VG: Which acting style would you like to adopt – Choi Min Sik’s way of melting into heartbreaking, wretched characters or Song Kang Ho’s way of making the character his own to the point that it’s provoking/detestable.
LMH: I think it’d be half-half? If [I] put in effort to melt into the character, wouldn’t it become my own? Even if I think I’m wholly true to the character, I think my [own] image would still appear. Because I’m human.

VG: If you were to choose a movie to dissolve stress, which would you watch between a blockbuster action movie, mystery crime thriller, and a slapstick comedy?
LMH: Mysteries or suspense are what I like but if it was to relieve stress, it’d likely be a blockbuster movie.

VG: Then what’s the most recent film you’ve seen?
LMH: It’s been too long since I’ve been to a movie theatre. Since A Frozen Flower was the last film I saw. I watched with my manager and stylist. The audience consisted only of us three. I was origally going to go with just my manager, but if it had been so, it would have caused big trouble from the embarrassment.

VG: What if an offer for a character like Zo In Sung’s in A Frozen Flower came in?
LMH: I think it would be a bit difficult right now. Although I think I could consider it after some time goes by and I gain experience.

VG: Which is the movie you’ve thought of seeing out between the recent topics of conversation – director Park Chan Wook’s Thirst or Bong Joon Ho’s Mother.
LMH: If I were to choose just one out of the two people, will I…, be ok (laughter)? I think I’m on the side of Thirst.

VG: They say gatherings between close friends are divided by two types (of people) – those who liven up the atmosphere by being loud and making people laugh and in contrast, those who see the appropriate, opportune responses and laugh. Which side are you on?
LMH: It varies widely depending on the circumstance. With my friends from middle school or high school, I’m the former, but as I began acting and entered [that] social life, I’ve realized that there are times when it’s necessary to be the latter. Now I’m almost closer to the latter.

VG: Is the type of opposite sex that catches your eye like Gianna Jun or Song Hye Kyo? Or like Kim Tae Hee?
LMH: I’ve said a few times before, but Song Hye Kyo’s style.

VG: If a girl who is your ideal type appears in front of your eyes, do you just look ahead and make a move or do you send telepathy while staying away and make her approach (you).
LMH: I think I’d send telepathy first. It’s good to have be cautious in love.

VG: Where would you proceed to – a gathering with close friends that you haven’t seen in a long while or an urgent (sudden) summons from your girlfriend?
LMH: Barring if you have a girlfriend that you can’t live without seeing even for one day, wouldn’t you usually go to a friends gathering where you can see many people at once? When I’m busy like I am these days, I particularly need to and miss meeting up with friends.

VG: Would you prefer Tokyo, Japan or Paris, France if you were to leave on a trip alone?
LMH: Paris, France, since I’ve never been.

VG: Is the weather you like rainy or sunny?
LMH: It’s the cloudy weather preceding rainfall. I can’t stand when it’s hot because of the bright sun, and I don’t like rainy days because it’s damp. That’s why I also like the cool season of autumn.

VG: Is your head clearer at 2pm or 2am?
LMH: I’m like an owl, so 2am.

VG: Which musical artist are you most curious about nowadays, between Girls’ Generation (SNSD) and Kiha & the Faces (장기하와 얼글들)?
LMH: Kiha & the Faces. They’re really fascinating. There was a time I watched a video clip [of them] and they really caught my eye.

VG: Do you tend to listen to a song you like continually for several months or do you diligently check for new song updates?
LMH: I listen to a song I like on repeat but I get sick of it quickly. I listen to it until I get sick of it. Just like how I listened to SNSD’s “Gee” too much until a bit ago, which is why my answer to the previous question was Kiha & the Faces.

VG: Are the shoes you enjoy wearing white-as-new hightops or faded sneakers?
LMH: Faded sneakers, although fans and the people around me think that I’d wear white hightops a lot.

VG: In your closet, are there more black jeans or blue jeans?
LMH: Black jeans. Not only jeans but I mostly wear only the colours black, white, and grey.

VG: When you think of the words, “cool guy”, does George Clooney wearing a fitted suit come to mind or Johnny Depp in vintage jeans and a hat come to mind?
LMH: Men are [for] suits. Therefore, George Clooney.

VG: After trying it out directly, which did you feel “that suits me surprisingly well” about between Gu Jun Pyo’s curly hair and the dark, smoky eye make-up in the beer CF?
LMH: Not so much that it suited me well but I’ve recently gained an interest in new styles such as smoky eye make-up. And it was a fun experience to film with that appearance.

VG: Tonight, if you could just see one production, what would you choose between a musical or a play?
LMH: I think I’d see a play. I haven’t been able to go often since the beginning of Boys Over Flowers. The last [theatrical] production I saw was From the Bottom starring Kim Su Ro sunbae (senior) in the middle of filming [BOF].

VG: Is the sport you like to watch, soccer or baseball?
LMH: Soccer. I played when I was young, you see. For some reason, if there’s a sport that men like, I think they dislike the [sport] matches that oppose it.

VG: Which event are you confident in between the 100 metre dash and a long distance race.
LMH: 100m dash. I can’t run with perseverance.

VG: Does your sense of humour lean towards real variety show Infinity Challenge or comedy show Gag Concert?
LMH: Real variety. In the past, I had fun watching the show Survivor, where the last person that remains on a remoted island wins.

VG: In your opinion, is the best harmony between ‘beer and chicken’ or ’soju and pork belly’?
LMH: [This is] difficult…(laughter). Alcohol-wise, I like beer but I like pork belly way better so [my answer] would be soju and pork belly. I’m not good at drinking alcohol. Four shots of soju is my limit.

VG: Do you prefer the playing of an electronic guitar or an acoustic guitar?
LMH: Acoustic guitar.

VG: Which animal would you like to raise as a pet – a dog or a cat?
LMH: I prefer dogs but these days I don’t have time to take care of one so I think it might be ok to raise a cat that doesn’t feel loneliness.

VG: If you come across a baby or an animal on the street, do you tend to say something or touch it, or do you just pass by?
LMH: It depends on the situation. In general if I see a baby, I tend to affectionately touch its cheek or foot.

VG: When shopping, do you make comparisons multiple times or purchase immediately if it appeals to you?
LMH: I tend to buy as soon as soon as it catches my eye.

VG: When sleeping, do you sleep lying on your side or on your stomach?
LMH: I sleep lying on my side or my stomach. I sleep most often on my side, but don’t sleep lying properly on my back.

VG: Which do you remember better – your friends’ phone numbers or movie leading actors’ names?
LMH: Movie leads’ names.

VG: Do you like white rice or do you like mixed rice?
LMH: White rice. The reason being that it just tastes better. Meat side dishes suit it best.

VG: Do you like to be seated in a corner far from the entrance of a cafe or by a window?
LMH: A corner seat in a quiet space. That was comfortable from a while ago.

VG: Do you drink quietly while sitting at a club or do you enjoy dancing on the floor?
LMH: As I drink a little bit of alcohol, I dance timidly (laughter).

VG: If there’s something like a missing button, loose thread, or small stain does it consume your nerves the entire day or do you forget about it?
LMH: It completely consumes my nerves.

VG: On a day when the forecast calls for rain, do you make sure to take an umbrella when you leave or do you just go out?
LMH: I don’t take an umbrella.

VG: Do you write a journal or diary?
LMH: No.

VG: Do you suppress your tears if possible or do you cry when you feel like it?
LMH: I suppress [them].

VG: Is your outlook on life one that sets plans (for the future) to abide by or is it happily living a full life in the present?
LMH: I’m devoted to today. I don’t really think about tomorrow and I tend to leave things to flow [naturally]. That’s why I need people around me that set up long-run plans and guide me all the more. Everything tends to be impromptu. Even with trips I like to leave by suddenly deciding, “Let’s go!”, rather than scheduling [ahead of time].

VG: If possible, would you want to stay in your twenties, or do you think it’d be nice to quickly go into your thirties?
LMH: I want to remain in my twenties. Forever. Continually.

First off, in case you were still wondering what’s up with the last half of the “F4 Special Edition After Story” music drama, for no explained reason the release was pushed back. (Parts 1 and 2 with Kim Bum and Kim Joon indicated we could expect Parts 3 and 4 to air on May 5, but they are now being released tomorrow instead, May 19.)

Seeing as how the public has been so eager to welcome the F4 boys in photo shoots and CFs and new projects, they are putting out a 50-minute “making of” video of the special edition project, which will air on cable channel Mnet on May 19, 6pm.

TVXQ was Selected for “Sweet Confession Seolreim”, Tuesday May 19, 2009 Korea

Group TVXQ is model for ice cream CF which catches the summer heat.

Dong Bang Shin Ki was selected as Japan and South Korea’s Lotte Confectionary model for its ice cream product’s CF called Seolreim.

Lotte Confectionary spokesperson said, “TVXQ is the best in Asia, they’ve been gaining much popularity as a group, and each TVXQ member has variety of charisma which is appealing, as well as their sweet image which is suitable for Seolreim romantic image. Thus they’re selected as CF model.”

The shooting was taken on April 21st at a studio in NamyangJu, the director wanted to potray an image of a couple showing their love on a roof across the room which caused heart throbbed.

The concept which conveys love comic acting done by lovely Dong Bang Shin Ki has grabbed attention of audiences.

Boys Over Flowers 5 Years Later After Story

As announced, Mnet has (finally!) released the last two parts of the four-part F4 “After Story” music drama, featuring Ji-hoo’s (Kim Hyun-joong) and Jun-pyo’s (Lee Min-ho) segments.

Like the first two, the last two also featured mostly old footage cobbled together into a new video.

Just as Episodes 1 and 2 featured songs sung by the actors (Kim Bum’s “I’m Going to Meet You Now” (지금 만나러 갑니다) and Kim Joon’s “To Make Empty” (비워내기)), these segments feature songs sung by Kim Hyun-joong and Lee Min-ho.

Ji-hoo’s theme is “Sometime” by SS501, while Jun-pyo’s is “My Everything.”

The spreading of influenza in region of Kasai, Japan makes a lot of new artists to cancel all performances, however the current national tour held by Tohoshinki is not yet affected.

Tohoshinki is now running their 4th Japan tour The Secret Code, which was begun in Kobe (May 4th -5th), Saitama (May 9th – 10th), Sendai (May 16th – 17th), etc.

On May 21st Tohoshinki’s spokesperson Song Hwang Ri said, “On May 23rd – 24th, Tohoshinki will have concert in Sapporo and Sapporo is not in Kansai region.”

Thus, up until now, Tohoshinki’s 4th live tour in Japan will be able to run safely. But the problem will raise in the mid-June, where Tohoshinki’s concert finally is scheduled to be performed in several cities in Kansai region: Osaka (June 10th – 11th, June 13th – 14th) and Nagoya (June 18th, 20th, and 21st).

For Kansai region in Japan is currently stated as new influenza pandemic, Tohoshinki’s concert can’t guarantee to be held as scheduled in those areas. There’s one popular singer’s performances which was originally scheduled to be held in that area as well, however due to the spread of influenze cases in Kansai, has been recently canceled.

Meanwhile, Tohoshinki’s Tokyo Dome The Secret Code concert will be held on July 4th – 5th as the last show of the tour.

Super Junior is the first to breakthrough 200K album sales for this year

Super Junior’s 3rd album ‘Sorry Sorry’ sold 75,319 copies online, 139, 851 copies offline, giving a total sales of 215,170 copies as of 15th May. They have sold more than 210,000 copies just 2 months after their comeback.

This made them the first artiste to sell over 200K album copies for this year, and best selling record of all Super Junior’s albums after 190K copies sold for their 2nd album in 2007.

The album is not only on best-seller chart in Korea but also in other countries like Taiwan and Thailand.

Super Junior said, “We are very happy and excited to have received so much love to release a new album as Super Junior after 1 year and 6 months. We are always thankful to our fans who are so supportive, and we will continue to work hard.”

Kim Hyun Joong has been infatuated with dancing while preparing for the Asia Tour concert starting in July. He and SS501 other members had returned to Korea from a one week long trip to LA, after performing for the Hollywood Bowl concert. During the performance in LA, Hyun Joong had met and consulted new dance moves from a famous dance group. Although the duration of meeting was short, he managed to practise and learn some of the well-known American style dance moves.

SS501's entertainment company said, " The moment Hyun Joong returned back to Korea, he immediately starts to practise dacing in the dance studio on 14th morning. During the period when he went to Japan for Boys Before FLowers fan meeting, he also paid special attention to Japanese style of dancing.

Kim Hyun Joong explained that the reason for him paying close attention to the different styles of dancing was so that he could demonstrate a variety of dance movements, different from what he used to dance, during the Asia Tour Concert, which starts from South Korea, and proceed to Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and other Asian countries.

After the recent release of SS501 second japanese album, All My Love, SS501's official activites in Japan are also approaching. Because the activities and public performances are just around the corner, Hyun Joong expressed that he is very nervous.

The four male lead stars of a hit Korean telenovela, “Boys Over Flowers,” are coming to the Philippines.

Korean superstars Lee Min-Ho (Jun Pyo), Kim Hyun-Joong (Ji Hoo), Kim Bum (So Yi Jeong) and Kim Joon (Song Woo Bin), or popularly called "F4," will visit the country, “The Buzz” host Kris Aquino announced Sunday.

There is no date yet as to when the stars will arrive in the Philippines but Aquino said it is going to be “soon.”

Based on the best-selling Japanese manga "Hana Yori Dango" by Yoko Kamio, the romantic story was first adapted in Taiwan as the phenomenal hit drama “Meteor Garden,” which aired on ABS-CBN in 2003. It starred Asia’s sensational boyband F4.

"Meteor Garden" remains to be one of the most successful Asianovelas aired on Philippine television, with an average rating of 42.9 percent in mega Manila and a nationwide average rating of 62 percent.

South Korea's "Boys Over Flowers," meanwhile, garnered an average rating of 30 percent. The show had a great impact on Korean pop culture as sales of men's cosmetics and fashion items skyrocketed and the female lead's hairstyle ruled the fashion world.

The Korean remake of "F4" also launched the careers of the four Asian superstars.

Aquino said the producers of the Korean show were grateful that, like Meteor Garden, it also became a hit in the Philippines.

Starting Monday, “Boys Over Flowers” will be aired at 6 p.m. before “TV Patrol World.” It takes over the timeslot of “Pinoy Bingo Night,” which will now be aired after “Tayong Dalawa.”

Super Junior have done it again as they claimed the K-Chart on KBS2TV Music Bank for the 4th week running with Sorry, Sorry. The win today was their 5th K-Chart win, taking into account their 2 monthly and 3 weekly wins. The contenders for the 15th May episode of Music Bank was like a round 2, with the same 3 contenders from last week as SG Wannabe's I Love You, 2PM's Again & Again and Super Junior's Sorry, Sorry faced each other again. Although SG Wannabe were present this time, they were equally powerless like 2PM as Super Junior walked away with another win.

Lee Teuk was in tears as he thanked their boss, Lee Soo Man since it was Teacher's Day in Korea. SM Entertainment has really dominated the K-Charts in the first half of 2009 thanks to Girls' Generation's Gee and Super Junior's Sorry, Sorry.

The still cuts to singer Kim Dong Hee’s upcoming MV ‘Yes you are a woman (여자는 그래)’ from her first album ‘My Reality’ were released on 15th May.

And featured in the MV are SS501 Kim Gyu Jong and movie actress Kim Shin Ah. For the MV, Kim Shin Ah plays the female lead who initiates breakup with her lover played Kim Gyu Jong, and she walked to the seashore where she commits suicide.

TVXQ will Release a New Singled

As the continuation of their 23rd single “Doushite Kimi Wa Suki Ni Natta Shimattan Darou?” which was performed in NHK, TVXQ recorded their new single in Japan released on July 1st, the 28th single, “Stand by U”.

Hero Jaejoong explained the title of the new single — “Stand By U”, “Someone left without saying good bye, but then realized how his feeling has been leaving unchanged,” he said firmly. “Nonetheless, instead of trying to be back again, he just continues to stand waiting with a faith that he will meet his true love once again.”

In addition to the single “Stand by U”, is a song that will be used for ending theme of NIHON TV’s Best Information Programme “Miyaneya” — “Tea for Two”. While their old single “Sky” is going to be the third track. TVXQ has finished filming music video for “Stand by U”.

The store titled an uncreative, "Crebeau-JEFF" for "Creating Beauty-Just Especially for Face" is a cross between a spa and a beauty supply shop. Though personally, I think the prices are a little steep, the store features a variety of beauty products from facial foam cleanser and sunscreen to shampoo and even a spa comforter set! As for the look of the shop... all I've got to say is that, that toilet is pretty epic... though I don't know anyone who would have the courage to sit on something so cute when their about to do something so incredibly NOT cute!

The side mirror to ShinDong’s car was damaged while the cyclist’s wrist was injured. According to the police, the cyclist may have been drunk during the time of accident.

SS501 Introduces A Capella Song in 2nd Japanese Album

The five members of SS501 are back together to launch their activities in Japan.

Until recently, the members had been busy with their separate activities: Kim Hyun-joong was filming "Boys Over Flowers," Park Jung-min was appearing in the musical "Grease," and Kim Hyung-jun, Kim Kyu-jong and Heo Young-saeng performed under the name "Triple S."

SS501's second Japanese album, which is slated for release on May 13 and entitled "All My Love," shows off a more mature side of the members' vocal skills.

All 13 songs included in the album are performed in Japanese. The new album contains a song that sends a message of hope to a loved one; the ballad "Mermaid," performed by Park Jung-min; the single "Lucky Days," which entered the Oricon weekly chart last year, and "Get Along," which was strongly recommended by the CEO of SS501's agency, DSP Media.

The title track, "All My Love," had drawn the spotlight even before the album's release because it is SS501's first a capella song. Park Jung-min said he and his band mates doubted their ability to perform the song when they first heard about it, but at the same time they believed they had to try it. Kim Hyun-jung, the leader of SS501, said the group practiced hard to perfectly convey the warmth of the song.

On May 17, SS501 will hold a handshaking event for its fans at the TFT Hall in Tokyo to mark the release of its new album and arouse interest in it.

On August 13, the group will hold two concerts at the Budokan Hall for the first time as part of its Asian concert tour.

The Korean version of broadcasted its first episode on Sunday with an average rating of 1.33%, which is only one fifth of 's. Ethan Ruan defeats Korean F4, making Korea's lose in the battle between Taiwan and Korea. Fans are trying hard to help promote on the web, while criticizing CTV for cutting too many scenes, horrible Mandarin dubbing, and switching insert songs, making lose its original flavor.

It's not the first time the dubbing has been criticized when Korean dramas are broadcasted in Taiwan. Although the dubbing is to service the majority of viewers, due to cultural differences, the Mandarin dubbing often hinders viewers from getting into the drama. Viewer, Jen says, "Lee Min Ho's sexy and raspy voice is gone...Jan Di's voice sounds fake, and isn't the voice dub for Kim Hyun Joong too girly?"

In addition, the insert songs are different from the original broadcasted version in Korea, which has lead to big disapproval from the audience shouting out, "No feel". A netizen wrote, "I'm very disappointed after watching the first episode. I think this is too much. I was already very upset with the fact that it's dub, but I never thought that they would also change the insert songs as well." The viewers are also questioning as to why the scenes where Goo Joon Pyo was picking out shoes and when the three students were sent to pull a prank on Geum Jan Di after being beaten with golf sticks were cut.

In regards to the netizens' protest, CTV expresses that what they broadcasted was what was given to them by GTV. They did not make any edits or switch insert songs.

GTV explains that the overseas version of Korean dramas are often not the same as the original, and that they have really not made any edits to the episodes.

In this DK commercial, everything that Kim HyunJoong and Park ShinHye touches with carbonated dink DK will burst into cool refreshing water from all over, establishing a refreshed feeling. Despite the exhaustion of their busy schedules, both enjoying the filming, Kim HyunJoong is always as enthusiastic with everything, bright and lively Park ShinHye is in all smiles from the start till the end of the filming, playing around with ‘Come and catch me~’ and running around in the water sprays.

Kim Bum in New Drama with Son Dam Bi

After completing all his movie projects on hand, Kim Bum will next be embarking on a new drama project together with Son Dambi and Joo Jin Mo for SBS Dream. It was announced today that the new Mon-Tue drama will see Kim Bum becoming a tough guy again who practises mixed martial arts. He will thus shed his gentle, pretty boy image that was forged in Boys Before Flowers and revert back to his charismatic image shown in East of Eden.

Dream is a sports drama about Kim Bum who turns good after being in a youth correctional facility. Joo Jin Mo becomes his (Kim Bum) mentor in his quest to become a top mixed martial arts exponent. Son Dambi, more known for her singing and whose Hollywood movie went up in smoke, will make her acting debut in this drama instead. Dambi will be acting as the daughter of a mixed martial arts academy director.

Filming for Dream will commence soon, with the broadcast set for September.

The recent release of Super Junior’s 3rd album lately, member KiBum (22) was not seen promoting the album title song ‘Sorry Sorry’ together with the rest of the group.

Netizens starting discussions on the internet about him ‘leaving the group’ or ‘because of his weight gain, he did not do promotions with the group’ etc. And lately, there has been many comparison of his photos about him gaining much weight going on on the internet.

The reason for his no-show was said to be that he was taking acting lessons. SM Entertainment said, “KiBum did the recording for Super Junior’s 3rd album too. my church (eventhough it doesn't feel like home unlike my previous church in Indonesia) had an event called The Power of The Cross...like the title, the event was about the power of the cross...
in this easter...
here is my revolution for this easter....i made a promise to myself to be a better person...

Noh MinWoo failed to get Kim HyunJoong to play bass guitar for his self-produced movie OST.

Noh MinWoo (23), a singer cum talent who acts in MBC sitcom ‘TaeHee HyeGyo JiHyun’, revealed his affinity with same-aged friend SS501 member Kim HyunJoong.

Noh MinWoo told Nocutnews in an interview recently, “We became close since mid of last year. However, HyunJoong is so busy these days that I am not able to see much of him.”

Noh MinWoo “I met Kim HyunJoong before he started acting in drama ’Boys Over Flowers’. At that time, I told HyunJoong ‘I think you have to change the way you talk if you act’, but HyunJoong replied to me ‘I think you have to do that too’. It is great to see HyunJoong get such a good result for his first time acting.”

Kim HyunJoong is well known for speaking out in a loose manner. Noh MinWoo’s way of talking is similar to Kim HyunJoong’s.

SS501 will meet with the listeners as the new DJ of ‘Music High’ taking over from Lee ByungHee announcer, from 13-Apr onwards through the SBS radio Spring reorganization.

While the term working vacation sounds like an oxymoron, that's exactly what Boys Before Flowers star Lee Min Ho did. He spent 2 days 1 night in Busan, where he attended a fan signing session and took in the sights at Korea's largest port city. He even took some time off to relax on a yacht one lazy afternoon.

On April 3rd and 4th, Lee Min Ho (22) went on his first official post Boys Before Flowers promotion alone, without his F3 sidekicks.

On April 3, Lee Min Ho was at Busan's Lotte Department Store for a fan signing session. 150 fans were there to greet him at the first official Gu Jun-pyo outing.

What did the 150 lucky fans have to do? Well, the first 150 early-bird customers of the day at Lotte Department Store were selected to participate in the signing event. According to an official of the department store, around 4,000 fans were found waiting at dawn at the entrance. Only the first 150 were allowed into the auditorium (Lotte Cinema) where Lee Min Ho arrived to personally greet them, autograph a Gu Jun-pyo photo and give each fan a rose.

Although Gu Jun-pyo wore expensive designer suits in the drama, the real Lee Min Ho is down to earth and dresses mostly in jeans, t-shirt and a jacket. At the fan meet, he wore a white printed t-shirt, red skinny jeans tucked into black laced up boots and a jacket.

The event lasted about an hour or so, and after the signing session Min Ho posed for some photos. After all that activity, the fans didn't let Min Ho leave empty handed. They presented him with a box filled with Gu Jun-pyo stickers.

It's vacation time after the meet-the-fans session. Min Ho stayed at a hotel in Haeundae (an affluent beach front community in eastern Busan). This is where Min Ho spent a lazy afternoon on a yacht, soaking in the sun and watching waves go by on the sparkling blue sea. What a perfect way to spend a lovely spring day!

‘SS501’s Music High’ Starts on 14-Apr.

Group SS501’s magnae Kim HyungJoon has been selected as a radio DJ.

Kim HyungJoon has been chosen as a sole DJ for SBS Power FM (107.7Mhz) following their Spring reorganization. Though Kim HyungJoon has done ad-hoc DJ in various radio programs before, this would be his first time being selected as a sole DJ (meaning, hosting the program by himself).

SS501’s company explained “The program title is named as SS501, however the program will be hosted by Kim HyungJoon alone. Kim HyungJoon also felt a sense of responsibility due to the usage of his own group name.”

Kim HyunJoong met with about 100 fans in a fan sign session held on 07-Apr, 1pm, at Lotte Hotel located in SoGong-dong, Jonggu, Seoul.

Cheerful Caretaker screens in Busan

We know that aside from acting, Boys Before Flowers star Gu Hye-sun can sing, likes to draw, has published a novel, and has directed her own short film. That film, titled The Cheerful Caretaker [유쾌한 도우미], will be getting a film festival screening.

The short film has now been accepted into the fiction category of the Busan Asian Short Film Festival (BASFF), which runs from May 13 through 17. Competing in the festival are a total of 90 entries from 20 countries.

Gu Hye-sun filmed this short, her directorial debut, last year, as well as writing its script and the theme song. The short spans 14 minutes and stars actors Kim Myung-soo and Ha Ji-won’s younger brother, Jeon Tae-soo; its title “Cheerful Caretaker” alludes to the euthanasia-themed story. The short had been accepted into last year’s Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF) in the “Wide Angle” category, but was eliminated in a preliminary round.

"Boys over Flowers" Draws Its Curtain

The KBS2 mega hit drama “Boys over Flowers” ended its three-month run on Tuesday. To celebrate its success, the drama team held a party at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul on Wednesday.

Lee Min-ho, who played one of the protagonists, Gu Jun-pyo, said, “We had spent most of our time together while shooting it for five months, so we got really close and got to share lots of good memories. Kim Joon and Kim Beom, who played the other two protagonists, Song Woo-bin and So Ih-jeong, also shared their feelings by saying, “I feel so lucky that I could make an acting debut through this great drama,” and “Living as So Ih-joeng for the last several months was a great pleasure to me.”

The cast and crew said it was challenging for all of them to be part of the drama since the shooting took place at various local and overseas locations, including New Caledonia and Macau.

Meanwhile, the team took a moment to pay a tribute to Jang Ja-yeon, one of the casting members, who committed suicide on March 7. Yoon Ji Hoo led a lonely life in the world after losing both his parents and F4 are the only friends in his life. He then meets the girl his best friend Gu Jun Pyo loves – Geum Jan Di. His character has captured the hearts of many female viewers through his protection of Geum Jan Di.

Goo Hye Sun, in particular, went through a lot throughout the filming of this drama. She had the most scenes to film, and on top of that, received a head injury and got into a car accident. To her, the most difficult scenes to film were the ones where Jandi gets bullied by the students. After getting a red card from the F4, Goo Hye Sun had to get hit by eggs and have flour dumped on her. “There was a scene where I get hit with tomatoes outside. The weather was so cold that the tomatoes froze as soon as they hit me, and I got frostbite. Also, I was always cold filming with those short skirts that were part of the uniform.”

A common way to describe them is, “stars who have awaken from a deep sleep.” Although they may have experienced obstacles and hardship during their newcomer days, but they become top stars after one drama project.

Every cycle of 3-5 years, a drama star will emerge and leave the nation’s viewers in awe. From Cha In Pyo in 1994’s ‘Love In Your Embrace’, Ahn Jae Wook in 1997’s ‘Star In My Heart’, Won Bin in 2000’s ‘Autumn In My Heart’ to Eric in 2004’s ‘Phoenix’ and Lee Minho in this year’s ‘Boys Before Flowers’ - they are the best examples. A Shift from The Outsider to The Realist

Change comes with the passing of time. Stars like these have to be good at mushy confessions or gestures of love. KBS 2TV drama Boys Over Flowers has come to an end on 31st March, 3 months after its airing rfrom 5th January.

With much debate over how the drama will come to an ending, viewers are satisfied that the drama ended with a happy ending, attracting a record high of 33.7% viewership during its last episode.

On the 24th episode aired on 30th March with appearance of YooMi who interferred into the Goo-Geum relationship has got viewers worried about the couple’s fate in the drama.

JanDi had, with the help of the F4 members, tried to get Goo Joon Pyo regain his lost memories but to no valid. And JaeKyung who has also been looking after JoonPyo all this while had only became more anxious.

With its ending episode, viewers questioned, “Don’t tell me that the high fantasy romance will just end with a sad ending?”

But viewers are glad that the drama has done some justice to the original version of the story which portrayed the ‘cheerfulness’ of pure young love depicted.

The drama ended with Goo Joon Pyo finding back his memory successfully. And JanDi made it into a medical college, proving to be a strong ‘weed’, together with Yoon Ji Hoo; So Yi Jung and Sung WooBin also had their own happy ending. This can be said to be a ‘happy ending all the way’.

And the happy ending also brought the viewers to the propose from Joon Pyo to JanDi, leaving the sweetest moments for viewers who has been quite irritated by the love-and-then-leave-again relationship.

Also a special episode of the drama will also be aired 1 week from the last 25th episode.

Kim Hyung Joong's "GOODBYE YOON JI HOO" fan meeting

Kim Hyun Joong of KBS 2TV drama Boys Over Flowers held a ‘Goodbye JiHoo’ fanmeeting on 31st March in Seoul Olympics stadium which saw a total of 5,500 fans present at the fanmeeting.

Co-actors Kim Bum and Kim Joon was also present to give support.

SS501 Kim Hyun Joong plays Yoon Ji Hoo in the drama as part of F4 and whom has captivated many fans and his love for Geum JanDi (played by Goo Hye Sun) in the show. They also gathered to watch the last episode of ‘Boys Over Flowers’ to be aired at 9.55pm.

Kim Hyun Joong had a fun session with the fans as well as performing and singing for the fans - he sang ‘Because I am stupid’ during the fanmeeting too.

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong will head to the hospital for treatment and recuperation after his CF and all other activities end on 2nd April.

BOF success within all its weakness

SEOUL, March 31 (Yonhap) -- Some loved it, some despised it. But no one will deny KBS TV drama "Boys over Flowers" became an unprecedented phenomenon in South Korea's television industry.

Since its first episode aired on Jan. 5, the series found itself at the center of a storm of rumors and controversy: one of its actresses committed suicide, all four main actors were injured in car accidents while rushing through a tight schedule and the show received several warnings from the media watchdog for excessive product placement and vulgar depiction of teenagers. To top it off, the series was repeatedly and harshly criticized for its "unrealistic and silly" plot.

But fans stuck with the 25-part series, which recorded an average 30 percent viewer rating at home and was sold to 11 Asian countries including Japan, Taiwan and the Philippines.

"We could do better if we were to make the drama all over again," said Bae Jong-byung, the drama's planning director, in a recent interview. "But we are quite satisfied with what we achieved the first time. We managed to create a brand new type of drama."

"Boys…" is based on a 37-volume Japanese "manga" series which was serialized in a bi-weekly magazine there from 1992 through 2003. Receiving a top manga award in 1996, the hit comic series has already been adapted into TV dramas in Japan and Taiwan.

The story centers on a working-class girl and four scions of wealthy families who call themselves the "Flower Four (F4)." While struggling to survive in an elite school of rich students, the young girl finds herself falling in love with the group's curly haired leader, who undergoes a transformation sparked by the relationship.

Despite a weak plot and flawed story line, fans say the Korean version still presented the "greatest eye pleasure" among the three adaptations thanks mostly to the show's four main actors.

"I loved the comic books back in middle school and was delighted that the TV characters matched my imagination perfectly," said 27-year-old office worker Lee Ja-young. "Despite all its shortcomings, the Korean version has the best looking actors and I was happy just at the sight of them."

Including Lee Min-ho, who starred as the F4 leader, the four actors were relatively new faces before becoming major stars within a few weeks of the drama's first episode.

"Our main focus was to cast the most handsome, cutest and freshest F4, and keep them that way throughout the show," said director Bae. "Everything else came after that."

Fans idolized members of the F4 like pop groups on stage and appeared ready to forgive their awkward acting and the show's weak plot that went from strange to stranger as the series wore on.

"The drama could never have earned so much popularity if F4 had been any less attractive," said Nam Sung-eh, 30. "Women want to look at pretty actors and fantasize about them: just as men do about actresses."

The show's popularity also managed to attract fans from across generations, with mothers and daughters able to share in the joy of seeing their favorite F4 member on screen.

"They were adorable," says Lim Mi-young, whose daughter attends middle school. "It felt strange but pleasant to watch the series with my daughter and discuss who was the cutest among the four."

The show's portrayal of high school students has been another source of controversy. Manipulative youngsters who use compromising photos taken in hotel beds to blackmail one another or drive cars and go clubbing, with classes unattended for days during extended holidays to exotic islands is not reflective of the typical South Korean teen, critics say.

There were also a number of unexplained plot twists between episodes, with characters appearing and disappearing seemingly at random.

Fans of the show dismiss the criticisms and defend the show's tendency to depart from the reality of everyday life. "Fiction is, after all" they say, "fiction."

"I hated it," one blogger posted on a local Web portal. "It seems to me that producers of this drama have no idea how to create a plausible plot and characters. I was disgusted looking at teenagers making out in the middle of the day, driving cars and drinking."

"Who says drama has to be realistic?" refuted another. "I actually loved the drama so much more for its silliness. It helped me escape from the reality and forget my problems for a while. The last thing I want is a head-scratcher of a drama."

The weak story was largely a product of the drama's tight shooting schedule, producers said.

"With the actors and actresses becoming so popular and busy, we had a hard time mapping out schedules that work for everyone," the drama's main producer Jun Ki-sang said. "While the plot might not have been dense enough, we did our best to create visually impressive scenes. Being a fantasy, I think audiences were ready to overlook some of the logical flaws as long as they liked what they were seeing."

As the drama's popularity surged, everything F4 members ate, held and wore became hot items. Sales of the main character Jun-pyo's (Lee Min-ho) favorite snack doubled while his curly top has now become the latest fashion trend.

Companies poured in money to secure placements for their products in the series, while members of the F4 became the "most wanted" among advertising models.

"My teenage sister demanded that my parents buy her a mobile phone the F4 carry around in the series although she already has a decent phone," said college student Lee Yun-ha. " I would have probably done the same if I had liked the show half as much as she did, seeing as it was virtually everywhere in the show."

With critics slamming the drama's producers as "gold diggers," the Korea Communications Standards Commission issued a warning against the show for its excessive product placement, or PPL, a widely-known advertisement method among local television producers.

The show's producers shot back.

"At first, we had a hard time finding firms and broadcasters willing to fund the production costs, especially because the show lacked big name actors," director Bae said. "With each episode costing nearly 300 million won (US$220,000) to make, we had no other means but to rely on advertising fees."

"With the Japanese and Taiwanese versions already a hit throughout Asia, we needed more money to create flashier and more sensational scenes," he added. "This was why we did overseas filming despite the tight budget and schedule."

Despite its obvious frailty, "Boys…" proved big name actors, playwrights and directors are no longer essential in creating a hit series, signaling new hope for a local TV industry struggling with tightening budgets and a limited number of stars.

But thorough preparation will be essential for the second and third generation of such dramas, experts say.

"I regret the fact we did not have more time to spend on the scenario and the overall story," producer Jun said. "Everything was new to us as it was to viewers and we panicked. We hope we can manage to create something of a better quality next time."

Dubbing the drama "an unexpected jackpot," media critic Kang Myung-suk said producers should learn to be more patient in creating high-quality products.

"'Boys...' could pull it off because it was the first of its kind, but viewers may not be so easily fooled next time," he said. "Instead of focusing on short-term profits, producers should really think about spending more time, money and effort in creating something better."

All eyes are on the model-turned-actor as he takes on a role that's sure to propel him to stardom.

At a red carpet for a local awards show, 22-year-old actor Lee Min-ho tripped and almost fell flat on his face.

Lee, however, is no falling star. In fact, he is Korea's biggest name to come out of the entertainment scene this year following his appearance as the male lead in Boys Over Flowers.

The Korean drama is the newest version of the popular Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango to hit the television screens. The drama has helped launch careers of Asian stars, especially those acting the male lead, a role that was previously played by Taiwan's Jerry Yan (Meteor Garden) and Japan's Jun Matsumoto (Hana Yori Dango). Yan went on to become one of the first pan-Asian idols while Matsumoto went on to do the movie version, which was a hit across the region.

Lee is a model-turned-actor like Yan and fans of the franchise have even pointed out his physical resemblance to the Taiwanese heartthrob.

This is Lee's biggest break so far and playing Goo Joon Pyo (Dao Ming Si in the Taiwan version and Domyoji Tsukasa in the Japanese version) has assured him that he won't be languishing in anonymity for long.

Lee debuted in 2005 in the drama Love Hymn, appearing as a minor character. His first lead role came in 2007 in Mackerel Run, an 8-part high-school drama.

Playing the rich spoiled brat in Boys Over Flowers could be anyone's trump card, a surefire way to stardom and Lee is sowing the fruits of that now, with many endorsements including Levi's, LG Telecom, Samsung Anycall, Trugen, Market O, Cadillac CTS, Samsung, Cass beer and Dunkin' Donuts.

Aside from acting, Lee has also received an offer to do a digital single as part of an advertisement for Cass beer. This more or less resembles the career path that the Taiwanese cast took, leading them to form a boy group named F4 after the same name in the drama.

In a recent interview, Lee displayed a tenacity that he would need once he becomes more famous. "Victory is not as important as possessing a fighting spirit. My motto is to not give up even if I fail. I think to have that attitude is just beautiful."

It was already known that the ending scene of the two(Jandi and Junpyo) was shot in New Caledonia in December. Could it be that the ending was reshot because the picture was leaked on the internet? The answer is no.

In the finale scene that was shot in New Caledonia, Junypo and Jandi were supposed to be looking for a ring in the water. They planned end the series with a scene where they look for the ring that he was supposed to propose to Jandi with.

The reason why this scene was cut is unique: it was because of the ring itself. The cast and crew thought they had done well with the scene where Jandi and Junpyo dig through the soil underwater looking for the ring, but they had made a mistake. They were supposed to be looking for a lost ring, but that ring was on Lee Min Ho's finger while he was looking for it.

The team only realized their mistake after they came back to korea, and eventually decided to redo the scene. Though the new scene still had a proposal and happy ending, it lost that beautiful New Caledonia scenery.

'Boys Over Flowers' launched the careers of many fresh faces, including F4's Lee Minho, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Bum, Kim Joon, Goo Hye Sun, Kim So Eun, and Lee Min Jung. The series left an overwhelming impact on the pop culture and continues to make headline news even after the last episode aired. The past few months have been recognized as 'The Golden Era of BOF'.

4: Eye-candy F4 members

No one would argue that 'Boys Over Flowers' gained immense popularity because of the F4 members. They are without a doubt the top reason for the success of the KBS drama. The heir of the powerful Shinhwa Group, Goo Joon Pyo (Lee Minho), previous president's grandson, Yoon Ji Hoo (Kim Hyun Joong), prodigy ceramic potter, So Yi Jung (Kim Bum), and the heir of a real estate empire, Song Woo Bin (Kim Joon) all displayed unique personalities, but also grabbed the attention of many female fans with their almost-too-perfect good looks. 11: Number of cameo appearances that made 'BOF' shine even brighter.

Many will remember 'Boys Over Flowers' for it's numerous cameo appearances. The first big star to make a surprise appearance was Han Chae Young, who played Yoon Ji Hoo's first love, Min Suh Hyun. Although she only appeared for a couple episodes, she left the strongest impression among viewers. Goo Joon Pyo's sister was played by Kim Hyun Joo (Goo Jun Hee) while his fiancee, Ha Jae Kyung, was played by Lee Min Jung.

Other cameos included Jung Eui Chul, who played two different roles as Lee Min Ha and Lee Jae Ha, Choo Gaeul's boyfriend, Gong Soo Pyo (played by Lee Jung Joon), and Geum Jandi's friend, Oh Min Ji (played by Lee Shi Young), who later betrays her. 25: Series ends with an extended episode.

Initially, 'Boys Over Flowers' planned to end with episode 24. Goo Hye Sun's car accident on Feb 27th resulted to scheduling conflicts, making it extremely difficult to shoot the entire series in the given time. The actress, who received stitches inside her mouth, was instructed to stay hospitalized for a couple of days; hence, filming was pushed back. KBS extended the series to episode 25 and filled the vacant time with a 'Boys Over Flowers' Special. On the 30th, producers expressed their opinions through the homepage: "The time that was given to us with the one extended episode was very awkward. We felt it was both overly done and not enough at the same time. Although we were accused of adding unnecessary kiss and flashback scenes, we had an obligation to wrap up the story in the given time."

6000: The price of Goo Joon Pyo's most expensive outfit.

Since 'Boys Over Flowers' tells the story of four extremely wealthy characters, the outfits worn by these actors needed to level up with their social statuses. F4 stylist, Jung Hye Jin, commented, "We dressed the F4 members like European princes. The most expensive outfit was worth $6000. The fur jacket was worn by Goo Joon Pyo when he officially announced Geum Jandi as his girlfriend to the Shinhwa High students (episode 5)." Group Eight's Song Byun Joon representative also stated, "The F4 members never wore the same outfit twice. Some might look similiar to others, but they are not. About 90% of Goon Joon Pyo's outfits were custom made. We tried to give all our characters an iconic look and spent more than $100,000 just on clothings."

3000: Number of fans that gathered on outdoor sets.

'Boys Over Flowers' became well known for the number fans it gathered. Dae Goo's Kae Myung University, which set the background for some of the school scenes, attracted over 3000 fans. A representative stated, "We were shocked by the number of fans that visited the set. After that, we weren't able to shoot at Kae Myung University for over a month."

During other wild fan encounters, officials were called to help main control and safety. When 2000 fans gathered for one of the outside shoots, 100 police officers were called in. The location of Geum Jandi and Choo Gaeul's part time job was also crowded with about 200-300 fans daily. Even with it's popularity, 'Boys Over Flowers' experienced the same amount of heartache and suffering.

the article misses 1 cameo...SS501 appeared on ep 4...so the number should be 12....well...i can't believe boys over flowers has really ended now...the drama brightened my day over the past 2 months...i saw the drama on february...i will miss all of them so much...when i saw the last episode...many feelings going through my heart...i felt sad and happy at the same time...i know the drama should end quickly before it turns into a mess (well the story became little bit ridiculous in some episodes but really...the drama is a worth watching) plus...when the drama end...it means 5 member of SS501 will be reunited again...well..after all....LOVE the drama...love the casts...and LOve the SOundtrack...

Park Jungmin, a member of a famous group SS501, was very estatic when he passed his driver's license test in four years.

According to a source close to Park Jungmin himself said "Recently Park Jungmin passed type one regular driver's license. Amongst the members he was the first one to try, since it seemed like he wanted to drive so badly. However whenever he had to take his test, the time overlapped with his other schedules. So it took him four years to actually pass the test.

It's over now. All the hype, all the suspense on how the drama's going to end. It's all over...

Filming for Boys Before Flowers ended on the night of March 29, 2009. The tail end of filming brought the cast on a whirlwind schedule, taking them from all over Korea to Macau and culminated at Korea's Incheon beach. Well, the dust has settled and now the cast and crew can only look back at the 5-months of hard work as a sweet memory.

The final episode of Boys Before Flowers aired on KBS2 in Korea on March 31, 2009. Imagine, barely more than a day of post-production time before the final episode went on air! That's the insanely hectic pace the drama cast and crew had to live with for the past 5 months or so. A dreadfully stressful, exhaustive pace. Congratulations to them for pulling it all off i say!

That's a wrap guys! Filming ends and the cast and crew celebrate...

Now that all the excitement of producing and first-time airing of the drama is over, what did the now scattered F4 members do? What did Lee Min-ho, Kim Hyun-joong, Kim Joon and Kim Bum do on the days after they completed filming the drama? Let's take a peek.

The next day - for the first time in five months(!), the four had completely different schedules. Of course the first thing on all of their minds were to get some much needed rest. But here's what each ended up doing.

Lee Min-ho : Exercise, facial and rest!

On March 30, Lee Min-ho got some much needed rest. He also worked out / exercised (which he says is long overdue) and made an appointment with his dermatologist for a one-hour skin care treatment.

That afternoon, in a telephone interview with Sports Korea, Min-ho mentioned "I feel much better after a one-hour rest and treatment at the dermatologist (he probably fell asleep when the dermatologist worked on his face)." Then he asked jokingly "Do I sound different when I am lying down?" However, Min-ho did not have the luxury of taking the entire day off. He had a shooting (photography) appointment later that evening.

Kim Hyun-joong : Fan meeting

Kim Hyun-joong a.k.a. Ji-hoo sunbae (a name which his fans affectionately still calls him) has one of the most organized and active fans groups around! On March 30, Hyun-joong had a rehearsal with his bandmates for the fan meeting which would take place the next day.

On March 31, Hyun-joong was at Seoul's Olympic Park meeting 4,000 very lucky fans. Kim Hyun-joong was joined by his SS501 band mates, Kim Joon and Kim Bum! Hyun-joong also told his fans that his band SS501 will be making a comeback soon.

Kim Bum : Busy shooting movie & CF

Kim Bum delved straight into shooting a movie after Boys Before Flowers wrapped up. The day after, he spent the entire morning at the film studio, then followed with CF shooting later. In fact, all the F4 members had a late night on March 29, taking photos and saying their good-byes. Despite staying up late the night before, Kim Bum had to wake up early for a full day of shooting.

Kim Joon : Begins his career as an entertainer

The end of Boys Before Flowers signifies a wonderful start to Kim Joon's new career. Before playing Song Woo-bin on the drama, he was in the band T-MAX, but was still practically an unknown face. Now, all that has changed and his career in K-pop entertainment has been given a kick-start. On March 30, Kim Joon was at the recording of an MBC entertainment program.

Kim Joon spoke to Sports Seoul via a telephone interview and said, "During the drama (BBF), I received much love from my fans. Now, after the drama, I intend to return all that love." He added that he aspires to become a good actor.

Kim Bum And Kim SO EUN on A CF together

Fretting that the end of KBS2TV Boys Before Flowers would meant the end of interactions between So Yi Jung and Gal Eul, no wait, Kim Bum and Kim So Eun?

Well, fans of the SoEul couple will be happy to know that a CF of them has surfaced today on the internet. The CF included scenes of Kim Bum and Kim So Eun behaving like a couple, enjoying sweet moments together at Namsan (seemed to have been filmed side-by-side with the actual drama). Even though their interactions were short, they were so adorable that you wished they had their own spin-off story. This is not all as this is only a teaser to the musical drama that has been filmed for the AnyCall Bodyguard mobile phone.

There is also a song for this which is appropriately called Bodyguard and performed by idol group Shinee. The lyrics go along the lines of "no matter where you may be, I will always be there protecting you" and really adds to the the commercial together with Shinee's sweet vocals. The full song Bodyguard will be released as a digital single on 3rd April.

SS501 to enter american market

SS501 members Kim Kyu Jong and Heo Yeong Saeng recently took part in a concert performance and for an interview in LA. There they met up with famous producers Andrew Lane and Steven Lee on 21st March and discussed about music and advancing into the American market.

Happy Ending for BOF

Supposedly. The KBS “Boys Before Flowers” team has finished filming their last scene of the drama yesterday (29th), bringing an end to this 5-month long production. And according to the news report, it is going to be a happy ending.

The finale scene was taken on the 29th night at a bathing beach in Incheon. As this particular scene contains content about the finale, the entire filming was kept in secrecy unlike previously. According to the details given by one of the crew members, all the leading casts participated in this filming and the ending will also be what the majority of the fans had wished for.

“Boys Before Flowers” began its production from November last year and the team has since travelled to several places for shots, including Macau, Seoul, Jeju Island and Pusan etc. Though the schedule was tight, the team still managed to complete it two days before the broadcast of the finale episode.
